What the Pasture Planner shows

This planner is a working simulation of how a HerdFence system grazes a real pasture. Enter your farm's address, mark the outline of the field you want grazed, and choose a HerdFence 100 or HerdFence 200 to see how the enclosure covers that ground — and how long it can support your herd — before the fence needs to move again.

Why farmers use it before buying

Rotational grazing works best when you already know how far a paddock stretches and how often it needs to move. Rather than estimating fence coverage on paper, the planner lays a to-scale HerdFence directly over your own aerial imagery, so you can see the paddock size, the acres it opens up, and the days of forage it represents for your actual herd count and species before placing an order.

How to use it

Start at step 1 by finding your farm, then use Select Pasture in step 2 to mark a field boundary — drag any corner to reshape it, click the boundary line to add a corner, or double-click a corner to remove it. Select Pasture never removes an existing pasture, so you can lay out several pastures on the same farm, each with its own HerdFence robot; use the pasture list in step 2 to pick which one you're editing or controlling. Step 3 sets the HerdFence 100 or HerdFence 200 and your herd size for the selected pasture, step 4 runs a live demonstration of that pasture's fence grazing across its marked boundary, and step 5 moves that robot manually — with coverage and forage metrics updating below the map as it moves.
